Kadyrov became a victim of the overseer of the “digital concentration camp”
The profiles of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov on the social networks Instagram and Facebook became unavailable on Saturday.
“The account had a checkmark (official status), so Instagram was obliged to ensure security. Out of curiosity, we contacted support, but there was no response. It is clear that practically no one else could have a hand in this,” Kadyrov himself commented on the situation in his Telegram channel.

He claims that he is pleased with the actions of the Instagram administration.
“The idea of leaving this network has long crossed my mind. But I thought it was awkward in front of my friends and subscribers, and I have more than four million of them on Instagram and Facebook. I spent a lot of time and attention communicating with them, sharing news from the republic and my family. However, don't be upset. We will continue to communicate on VKontakte (Ramzan Kadyrov), Twitter (RKadyrov), Telegram (@RKadyrov_95),” Kadyrov wrote.
He also said that a new social network @Mylistory, which is “in no way inferior to overseas ones,” is in the testing stage in Chechnya. It will start functioning after the new year.
The head of Chechnya draws the attention of subscribers to the fact that his disappearance from American social networks strangely coincided with the introduction of personal sanctions against him by the US Treasury.
Even his opponent, liberal blogger Ilya Varlamov, supported Kadyrov.
“It is important to understand one simple thing - Facebook and its daughters (Instagram, WhatsApp) are a digital concentration camp. There is no justice or understanding there. Your fate is in the hands of the overseer, and sooner or later you will be thrown into the digital oven. Facebook bans and deletes accounts for no reason. Just look at the story when they banned people for the word “crest” a couple of years ago. Therefore, there can be only one conclusion here - do not connect your business with social networks, do not make any social network the main platform for communication. Sooner or later Zuckerberg will come and throw you into the oven,” Varlamov wrote in his Telegram channel.
