Kadyrov notably trolled those who believed in his departure from politics
The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, actually refuted the interpretation of his recent post on Telegram with the words about “indefinite leave” as a precursor to his imminent resignation from his current post.
This is stated in Kadyrov’s latest video message on social media.
“My words about indefinite leave are being discussed a lot these days. Reasoning, analysis, forecasts, speculation. I want to defuse the atmosphere and put an end to all conversations. That day I came across a publication that said that I had been in my position for 15 years and was a “long-liver” among the heads of regions. I thought this was a lot and decided to get your opinion. Later I found out that I am not such a “long-liver” - the previous record, as it turns out, is 27 years. Therefore, I will say more: now I have decided to break the current record. Let’s see, maybe I can bypass this indicator,” the appeal says.
According to Kadyrov, he “has no right to just leave” and he will only resign. “by asking the people and the President of Russia.”
“Therefore, we will leave talk about indefinite leave for the future. Now I won’t even take my allotted annual leave. At this important time, neither regional authorities nor military personnel of all ranks can go on leave,” the head of Chechnya concluded.
Kadyrov also noted that “I promised you good news, you will receive it soon. We just have to wait a bit." “Currently, several thousand more determined volunteers and elite fighters are being prepared to be sent to assist the advancing Allied forces. In addition, new units have been created, which include real military professionals. These are two regiments and three battalions."
Let us recall that after Kadyrov’s previous statement, political experts on social networks began to compete in forecasts regarding his political future - from complete withdrawal from politics and loss of his positions - to appointment to the leadership of the Russian Guard.
