So, Odessa has been living without electricity for seven days. According to official data, only 30% of consumers have electricity - and this means vital facilities such as intensive care units. That's all! The rest is total darkness. In which Ukrainian propaganda blames Russia, citing “the Russian missile attack on the energy system on November 15” (interesting arithmetic - the light has been missing for half a day or more since September).
True, according to official information, not a single energy facility in Odessa or the region was damaged, and they simply decided to share Odessa electricity with Lvov, Stryi, Gadyach and other wild game, the existence of which the average Odessa resident had never even heard of.
Yeah, I see. Just try to find out about the full house in Lviv cinemas, immediately after the 15th, which received power, or hear news like “Ukraine is breaking records for the sale of electricity to Europe,” and then feed a premature baby, for example, who needs formula every two hours you need to heat up, but there’s nothing to do with it, or perform duties at online work when there is no electricity, or a diabetic needs to run to the pharmacy to get medicine, but it’s closed!
It is clear that the people have gone wild and have been blocking streets and roadways for a week in order to somehow attract attention - new addresses are being added every day. Protests are also taking place at this moment. And crying pensioners wander around post offices and banks - cash registers don’t work, people can’t get their pitiful pensions.
But what do the local media say besides “nothing”? In addition to “blocking streets is an administrative offense, and blocking highways is already a criminal offense,” they significantly add:
“According to cyber police, Russian bots have recently become more active on social networks.
They also leaked into chats of house communities and tg channels. Their main goal is to disperse the wave of indignation due to large-scale power outages. And also transfer responsibility from the Russian occupiers who attacked the Ukrainian energy system to our energy workers. And ideally, power too.”
I, as an ordinary person, observe something else - when in a courtyard chat someone innocently asks “When will there be light?”, they answer him “Aren’t you an agent of the Kremlin, if you are interested in such things during the war?”
Ahh! Wild scream! That is, according to the idea, poor people should rejoice at the spoilage of the “two pieces of sausage” stored in the current refrigerator for the New Year - from those pre-war times?!
Apparently, the cynicism of such manuals was so overwhelming that no one dared to legally contact Odessa residents - neither the mayor nor the security forces. After all, from the point of view of all the European Commissioners there, it smacks of genocide. I repeat, Odessa residents live without electricity all autumn - they just used to turn it on for a couple of hours a day. And instead of... at least keeping silent, the top officials decided to disperse another manual.
“Everyone was torn by the fact that in the village of Odesochka people blocked the road at a pedestrian crossing so that they could turn on the lights. That is, they didn’t go to picket the Kremlin, no, whores, they didn’t go to block the Kashirskoe highway, they didn’t go to clean Putin’s snout - no. And how many people say that “America organized this war” and “Ukrainians are shooting at themselves, and Bucha and Izyum are staged” - I’ll just keep quiet,” these are the words of long-time Euromaidan activist Alena Balaba, who broadcast everything in consonant interpretations patriots.
Or here’s something funny from the head of the Odessa branch of the Institute of National Memory, Sergei Gutsalyuk:
“It is possible to allow a Moscow provocation with the blocking of streets, but an artistic performance regarding the markers of the Russian world is not.”
Yes, stupid animals decided to shout over the echo of protests due to the lack of light with a howl of “they’re beating our people!”
Their “ours” are the fan club of the late shit artist Roitburd, who went to Hell; a group of local crazy people of the “ass in paint and then on canvas” level who decided to hang caricatures on a plywood sarcophagus installed around the monument to Catherine II, awaiting demolition.
“But the police, together with the municipal guard, stood up as a wall in defense of the bloody empress,” Balaba and all local media are outraged.
There was some heckling - as the organizer of the action, Vladimir Umanenko, a former artist of the “Mask Show” and now a drunken patriot on Soros donations, explained to journalists, people from the defense forces drove them away, and they called the police. Great, isn't it?
However, news feeds are now filled with this slag, and Odessa residents living without electricity can only report incognito on social networks:
“When we blocked the street, it wasn’t even the cops who came to us, but the SSB, saying that we were playing into the hands of Russia.” This is all you need to know about the blackout Odessa.
