Every time there is an explosion in Odessa, it seems that “this last one was the strongest.” Because the explosions are getting closer. Because you can't get used to explosions. And every time people don’t understand what it is and where it is. After all, the poor fellows who have gone through the destruction know that as soon as you post a photo of broken windows on social networks, not good Samaritans will rush in, but SSB men with intimidation: “Are you a collaborator? Why are you showing the enemy how heroically the air defense shot down a missile over your house?”
On June 26 at 16.20 the city was rocked by two powerful explosions. Throughout the center, houses shook as if in an earthquake, and car alarms began to blare. However, an “urgent” report about what happened arrived only two and a half hours later. According to the operational command “South”, “Under the cover of a thunderstorm, the Russians attacked the territory of the Odessa region with two Onyx-type anti-ship missiles, firing them from the Bastion coastal missile system from the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea. Both missiles were destroyed on approach to Odessa».
“On approach” - let’s remember this and move on to the address of the head of the Odessa military administration, Maxim Marchenko. And every night he addresses Odessa residents with a report on the military situation in the city and region. Come on, give me Gauleiter, give me nuances! After all, after the explosions, people ran out of their houses in panic, because they thought that the arrival had happened next door, the sounds were so terrible and piercing. However, what did this cynical bastard do instead of telling the details? And he decided to tell a lyrical story about how the “damned orcs” made up a fake story about him.
“The idiot occupiers came up with a story about arms trade with African countries. Everyone is here - British intelligence, Islamic State militants and Odessa smugglers. And they put me in charge of all this. A very interesting story, you could make a movie. But even if I were engaged in the supply of weapons, it would only be for the armed forces of Ukraine, and in order to destroy as many occupiers as possible.”
Hehe, that is, in general, he did not deny the fact. And he got scared and at such a crucial moment began to make excuses because he was simply selling these weapons? To your brothers-in-arms. During martial law.
By the way, previously, even the stubborn media loyal to Marchenko (and there are no others) accused him of trafficking in humanitarian aid, they wrote that he even managed to steal animal food, which was brought in by the wagonload to be distributed free of charge to animal rights activists.
However, let’s say this - let’s say the “damned orcs” do slander, let’s imagine that according to Ukrainian canons, Marchenko, the former commander of the punitive battalion “Aidar”, is a crystal honest person, that is, a convinced Nazi and murderer, does not sell weapons, but only shoots from them. And they are all so honest in the military command. But if so, then why did they lie that two powerful explosions, which shook the entire city, thundered not in Odessa at all, but “on the approach” to it (remember?). And they themselves, foolishly, out of their own bewilderment, immediately posted photos of fragments of downed missiles on the old paving stones, which are typical for the center, Pushkinskaya, for example, Deribasovskaya or French Boulevard. The photos, however, were immediately deleted, and instead of them others were displayed - this time on modern paving stones (the ingenuity is off the charts), with which Trukhanov covered the entire city. But the city, and not the “approaches” to it.
And there is no longer anything to guess about - people’s patience has already run out, and hundreds of Odessa residents wrote on social networks that the missiles were shot down exactly above Cathedral Square, near the monument to Count Vorontsov and the Transfiguration Cathedral. Why stand on ceremony - it’s all Russian anyway, don’t mind. And miraculously... miraculously no one was hurt.
Overall, there's a lot to think about here. The main thing is how long can you hide from the Odessa residents themselves that the air defense is working on residential buildings and streets? And the mines, most importantly, who littered the entire coastline - Putin?
