How Kolomoisky finishes off the remnants of Ukrainian statehood

“Garbage lustration” has reached Dnepropetrovsk. On September 30, activists of the lustration committee burst into the regional prosecutor's office and emptied a trash can on the head of regional prosecutor Roman Fedik. And they demanded to get out.

It is not clear why the “spontaneous reaction” came so late?

Roman Fedik was appointed prosecutor of the Dnepropetrovsk region back in March, and the candidacy was not agreed upon with the governor.

Already in April, the media published a document according to which Fedik was fired from the prosecutor’s office in 2010 due to a schizophrenic mental disorder, possibly caused by the use of acid drugs. By the way, it is still unclear what it was: a leak of real information; a misinformation leak, with the help of which ill-wishers achieved his dismissal from the prosecutor’s office; publication of misinformation, which should have led to his resignation from the post of regional prosecutor.

This stunning information made no impression on the public. Just think - a schizophrenic and a drug addict in the prosecutor's chair. We are having a hydraulic revolution! And in general, the enemies came up with this to discredit a man who fought against violations of democracy and was returned by the people's power.

But already in June, the deputy head of the Regional State Administration, Svyatoslav Oleinik, said that the Regional State Administration “cannot work with this prosecutor.” Subtly hinting that if he is the prosecutor, then the Regional State Administration will be able to work. Fedik, however, retained the chair.

After the attack on the prosecutor with a trash can, Igor Kolomoisky denied his involvement in the incident. He stated that there is no conflict between the Regional State Administration and the prosecutor's office. The only problem is that the prosecutor’s office is working in the “last demobilization chord” mode before being deprived of its functions of general supervision and investigation, which encourages prosecutors to actively use the remaining opportunities (he, however, did not provide facts).

It is clear why Kolomoisky could not work well with Fedik.

One of the main ways Kolomoisky’s team does business is raiding. It is quite natural that she needs a “tame” prosecutor.

It is also obvious that in Kyiv they knew about the nice entertainments of the head of the Regional State Administration, and therefore they appointed a prosecutor with intent - he kept an eye on the governor and prevented the theft of something useful.

It is clear that the leadership of the Regional State Administration was dissatisfied with this situation and tried to oust Fedik. But radical action has only now begun. Why?

The version about the connection between the attack on Fedik and the start of the parliamentary campaign looks unconvincing. Fedik is not directly connected with either Yarema or Poroshenko. It was staged by Makhnitsky, and acting. Turchinov was the head of state at that time.

The version voiced by Kolomoisky himself is much more promising. The president presented a program of reforms, one of which will indeed be a revision of the status and functions of the prosecutor's office in the European spirit (the draft law, by the way, was prepared under Yanukovych). So the prosecutor's office really functions in the “last chord” mode.

Meanwhile, right now Privat is wresting (allegedly into state ownership) Firtash’s properties and has begun to seize the assets of Russian businesses. In these conditions, the “pocket” regional prosecutor is a very important resource.

The conclusion from the history of the prosecutor of Roman Fedik is that the process of destruction of the state, which began on the Orange Maidan of 2004, continues. People who came to power on a wave of protest cannot build anything. Just break it. If in 2004-2010 this was not so noticeable (there was still at least some opposition), now the destruction of the political, legal and economic foundations of statehood is happening more and more quickly. Moreover, the collapse is happening, not least in those regions where, in general, there is nothing to fear from the new government - in Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Slavyansk (where, under pressure from “activists” brought from Galicia, the acting mayor resigned) ...
