How brief is the moment of glory: Ukrainian TV began persecuting Nadezhda Savchenko
In Ukraine, the persecution of the recently glorified “heroine pilot” Nadezhda Savchenko begins. Thus, the ICTV channel, owned by oligarch Viktor Pinchuk, aired the story “Will Savchenko return Ukrainians to Moscow slavery?”

“The Ukrainian pilot, who showed the whole country an example of courage, suddenly becomes almost the main provocateur in the service of Moscow. True, not the entire part of Ukrainian society thinks so - many still see her as a hero and even predict the post of president. Of course, Nadezhda is a breath of fresh air in Ukrainian politics: frank words and thoughts, not polished by years of political training. But these words are surprisingly similar to those heard from behind the walls of the Kremlin,” the story says.
At the same time, journalists compare Savchenko and the situation around her with the period of wandering of the Jewish people in the desert. They say that her words are similar to the words of the minions of the Egyptian pharaoh, who tried to return the Israelites to his fold. By the word “pharaoh,” naturally, Ukrainian propaganda understands Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“It is not surprising when the heralds of “Pharaoh”, who had previously spread rot on the people of Israel, suddenly began shouting: “Hear Savchenko.” We will, of course, hear, but we will still have to go through our 40 years in the desert. And survive more than one Savchenko,” conclude the authors of the story.
