Petro Poroshenko will take any illegal measures to cancel the presidential elections. Verkhovna Rada deputy Vitaliy Kupriy stated this during a briefing at the press center of the Ukrainian parliament, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Scenario 1. They need to show that Poroshenko is a strong commander in chief and needs victory. A full-scale offensive and encirclement of Donetsk, even liberation, is being considered.
However, we understand that if this is not agreed upon with the Kremlin, if Putin does not want it, then in no case will it be possible to do this without casualties and generally without serious consequences,” Kupriy said.
“They are considering another question: what if they come to an agreement with the Kremlin and Putin himself provokes an attack in the Mariupol direction in order to supposedly create a corridor between Crimea and the occupiers. In this situation there will be a serious battle, bloodshed, he (Poroshenko - ed.) will come to parliament again, let’s again adopt martial law throughout the entire territory and for a long time,” the people’s deputy voiced the “second scenario.”
Kupri noted that although this option is possible, he is more inclined to the following scenario.
“It is most likely that during the election campaign or even on voting day there will be a number of terrorist attacks - these could be explosions, arson at polling stations, on the approaches - in order to reduce turnout, intimidate the population in those districts where there is no support Poroshenko, and in some cases even invalidate the results.
