“As soon as I put on the sword belt, I immediately wear it”
Ukrainian Defense Minister Valeriy Geletey said that the United States highly appreciates the Ukrainian army: “at the NATO summit in Wales, I met with the US Secretary of Defense. (...) But do you know what words I heard? “Highest praise for the Ukrainian armed forces, because they have satellites, information, intelligence, and they also reported that we stopped the Russian aggressor.”
Of course, the US Secretary of Defense knows very well the value of hunting stories about repelling “Russian aggression” (invented by Psaki) with the use of nuclear weapons (invented by Ukrainian journalist Bochkala). NATO countries actually have intelligence means that have shown that there are no Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine, which has been reported repeatedly.
And, nevertheless, there is no doubt that the Ukrainian army really received high praise from the American minister.
Firstly, the Ukrainian army fulfilled its assigned task of unleashing a civil war in the country. For a long time, the Ukrainian military could not overcome the misconception that they were fighting with their own fellow citizens, as a result of which ridiculous incidents occurred, such as militias chasing BMD on ATVs. They, however, succeeded - they finally felt like the vanguard of the American army, and the residents of Donbass - rebel slaves.
The result is that the point of no return in relations between Donbass and Ukraine has been passed; before our eyes, a collapsing Ukraine is held together by blood, and this same blood is gradually dissolving the still surviving structures of Ukrainian society, turning the country into a long-term source of tension.
A brilliant success of American politics! Now Russia and Europe are facing a country engulfed in civil war, a million (so far only a million) refugees, devastation, the threat of terrorist attacks at nuclear power plants and chemical plants, problems with the supply of Russian gas to Europe... Moreover, US losses are completely insignificant and concern only personnel private military companies.
Well, how can one not praise for all this the Ukrainian “miracle heroes” and personally the Minister of Defense, about whom even Maidan supporters write “as soon as I put on a sword belt, I immediately fly away”?
Secondly, valiant Ukrainian military personnel do not hesitate to commit war crimes in the name of US interests. Probably, the US Secretary of Defense knows more about the Malaysian Boeing than not only journalists, but, perhaps, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine himself. Again, why not praise? Moreover, the provocation, as many believe, was directed not so much against the DPR as against Russia...
Now, judging by DPR intelligence data, the Donetsk airport is defended mainly by representatives of the Right Sector and the Polish PMC.
The Poles in NATO are an army that serves as “cannon fodder”. By shelling and bombing (carried out by the elite - the Americans and the British) you can bring the country to its knees, but not capture and control it. Usually native rebels from the local Maidan are used for capture and control, but sometimes they are not available. And then we will have to let the Poles into battle. It is clear that the Poles do not like this role and they are not at all against leaving the European-integrated heirs of the former Polish gentry to die in the jungle, deserts and ruins of cities.
So the scope of work facing the Gelethea is extensive.
