Information about Lysenko’s work under Yanukovych was confirmed by the former chief lawyer of the fugitive president, Andrei Portnov. The correspondence between Oleynik and Portnov was published by former Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Party of Regions Irina Berezhnaya.
