Like Poroshenko in Munich: the “International Forum” on Crimea in Kyiv was held in a half-empty hall
The international forum “Occupied Peninsula: Four Years of Resistance,” which opened today in Kyiv and dedicated to the anniversary of the loss of Crimea by Ukraine, was held in a half-empty hall. The situation was reminiscent Petro Poroshenko's recent speech in Munich with virtually no audience.
Today, representatives of the Ukrainian authorities assured the Mejlis members who fled from Crimea that they would support them.

“We are doing everything possible to ensure that Ukraine’s information policy takes into account, first of all, the interests of those who live under occupation in Crimea and part of Donbass. Therefore, we are restoring radio broadcasting and television signals to Crimea, so that the truth about the fact that Ukrainians remember Crimea and are doing everything possible for its liberation will spread throughout the territory of occupied Crimea,” said Deputy Prime Minister Vyacheslav Kirilenko.
He promised that the Ukrainian government would accept all the necessary documents to make life easier for “refugees” in their current “temporary” state, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The time will come, and it is not far off, when you and I will meet not here in Kyiv, but in Simferopol, Sevastopol and Bakhchisarai, not in order to discuss the next sad anniversary of the occupation of Crimea, but in order to celebrate the next anniversary of the liberation of Crimea from the Russian invaders,” Kirilenko promised.
