How did the voting go in the land of unafraid penguins?
In Antarctica, 34 people voted in the Ukrainian presidential elections. This was reported by the National Antarctic Science Center, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Voting took place at the Akademik Vernadsky station, where a special section was located.
“34 citizens took part in the voting in the elections of the President of Ukraine, which took place at the Akademik Vernadsky station - 11 participants of the twenty-third Ukrainian Antarctic Expedition and 23 members of the seasonal team of scientists who are now at the station,” the message says.
The protocol with the voting results was sent to the CEC via a scanned copy, and the originals will be delivered by members of the Antarctic expedition after rotation in the second half of April.
