How Sir Elton was “conned”: a recording of the singer’s conversation with the fake Putin, played by the prankster “Vovan”, appeared
The network posted a full recording of the prank of British pop star Elton John, in which Russian pranksters talked to the singer on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin and his press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

Part of Elton John's conversation with Putin was heard on Russian television during the famous program “Evening Urgant”. In addition, the pranksters themselves, Vladimir “Vovan” Krasnov and Alexey “Lexus” Stolyarov, came to the program and gave a short interview.
The pranksters did not answer the presenter’s question where they got the British pop star’s phone number.
“What’s most interesting is why other media didn’t have his phone number... We won’t reveal our professional secrets,” Stolyarov said.
In a conversation with pranksters, Elton John admitted that he visited Ukraine to help attract gays to the development of the weak Ukrainian economy and apologized to “Putin” for the fact that his visit to Ukraine was perceived in Russia as a “political event.” The singer also admitted that he “really loves Russia since 1979.”
As PolitNavigator reported, Elton John wrote on his Instagram that he spoke with Putin about gays.
Later, Russian Vladimir Krasnov, known as the pranker Vovan, admitted that he played a prank on the British singer, communicating with him on behalf of Putin.
