How the family of the head of the SBU is profiting from the war: the media unveiled Gritsak’s enrichment schemes
The family of the head of the SBU Vasily Gritsak has already amassed fabulous fortunes in the war in Donbass, “protecting” routes for the supply of goods to the LPR, although Kyiv officially declared a blockade of the people’s republics.

“At the moment, almost all Ukrainian companies importing food and essential goods into the LPR are working in the interests of the SBU. They all pay “tribute” and work according to a scheme that was imposed on them by the leadership of the Security Service of Ukraine through their closest subordinates. Of course, businessmen also have their own profit, but the main income goes directly to Gritsak. Supervises this entire business and ensures the unimpeded passage of goods through the ATO zone, Directorate “K” of the SBU.
Employees of the “K” department have now established the unhindered passage of convoys with goods, the formation of which takes place under the control of the SBU, through the Peski-Logachevka automobile checkpoint in the Kharkov region. The trucks move to the territory of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, where the goods are reloaded onto another transport, and customs documents are reissued. Then the cargo passes through Russian territory and is imported into the Lugansk Republic from the Rostov region through the Novoshakhtinsk-Dolzhansky checkpoint. But with other documents, under the guise of goods of Russian or other origin (for example, Azerbaijani).
The SBU has also established the movement of goods directly across the contact line. But this is dangerous, so the main flow goes through the territory of the Russian Federation.
Such a scheme was invented and organized at one time by businessmen - natives of the Lugansk region, belonging to various political groups, including those opposed to the current Kyiv regime...
The SBU, using its operational capabilities, identified companies operating according to the mentioned scheme, determined the routes for the movement of goods, established that they ultimately ended up in the Lugansk Republic, and opened criminal cases against the owners and businessmen...
Thus, the SBU forced the owners of these companies to work in their own interests, primarily in the interests of Gritsak personally. That is, in fact, a raider takeover of business took place. And now all these entrepreneurs are working under the control of the head of the SBU...
The head of the SBU Gritsak has a son, Oleg. He is an employee of the prosecutor's office of the Kyiv region. At the end of last year, Oleg Gritsak was appointed head of the department for overseeing compliance with the rule of law by the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Border Service. That is, in fact, the son was put in charge of his father. You can easily guess with what result...
It is Gritsak Jr. who oversees the scheme for “squeezing out” cross-border business. He looks for a business, and then either takes it away or forces the owner to “share”...
This is a “family contract”. And it brings in a good income. For example, according to Ukrainian press reports, Oleg Gritsak’s wife and her parents own seven apartments, four of which they bought on the same day, six months after Vasily Gritsak was appointed head of the SBU,” the publication writes.
“Vasily Gritsak today is actually the second person in Ukraine, making decisions both in domestic politics and in military matters. He oversees the ATO. And now it becomes clear that he has a very serious material interest in ensuring that the fighting continues, so that the scheme, which brings huge dividends to him personally, continues to work,” the newspaper emphasizes.
