As is already known, full-scale military operations began on May 26, with the use of military aircraft, mortars and all types of small arms. The number of dead will constantly increase, a huge number of wounded and shell-shocked, doctors are working under triple load.
However, just yesterday morning, even the alarming situation at the Donetsk militia checkpoints now seems like a peaceful and cozy popular picture.
In particular, we managed to visit the checkpoint in front of the village of Pervomaiskoye, in the Peski area. I talked with the militias and photographed many of them. All locals, and even families: father and son, Evgeny Anatolyevich and Anatoly Evgenievich, posed for me with pleasure. There is not much to say here, except that an hour after our filming, a battle began there. According to updated data, two were killed, one was seriously injured.
Some of those in the photograph are no longer alive...
The mood was completely different at Ukrainian military checkpoints.
The military is very nervous, ready to react to any little thing. It feels like they are ready to open fire for any wrong move. Policemen from traffic police posts you meet on the road advise not to approach them at all, and to go around them if possible. They even kindly suggest detour routes. They themselves are nervous and have a negative attitude towards the Kyiv troops.
Ukrainian soldiers are most likely poorly informed about what is happening, there is no intelligence, hence the nervousness, they are expecting a catch in everything. The result was a night shooting of two truck drivers near Krasnoarmeysk. They just killed innocent people: they didn’t like something. I was present at the scene of this tragedy, they didn’t let me take pictures, thank you that the camera wasn’t broken. A group of investigators from Dnepropetrovsk (that’s how they introduced themselves) worked at the scene. The Ukrainian side does not hide that this happened through the fault of the army. I saw the bodies. No legs, no arms, one is missing half a head. That is, they shot at close range with several guns. Everyone understands that driving at night is deadly. Scary…
Thank you!
