Russian liberals - supporters of Belomaidan on Sunday again gathered for an unauthorized picket near the Belarusian Embassy in the center of Moscow, despite the fact that the day before The police managed to disperse the rally of support for the Zmagars.

“The protesters immediately reacted to my appearance. They began to show a poster specially made for me, with a quote from Moscow Mayor Sobyanin: “People over 60 are not recommended to be in crowds of people,” said blogger and reporter Sergei Rulev about the reaction of White Maidan workers to the journalist, who, unlike the liberal press of the capital, evaluates what is happening critically.

Already traditionally, a little to the side, Muscovite Pavel was seen at a single picket, carrying out a homemade poster - the state flag of Belarus on one side, and on the other - a crossed out BC flag (a symbol of Hitler’s collaborators). It is interesting that liberal Moscow streamers ignored Pavel, focusing their attention exclusively on opponents of Alexander Lukashenko.

Soon an incident occurred with a passerby who, seeing the picketers, began accusing them of lying. The young man said that he is a citizen of Belarus and saw the election process with his own eyes - in his opinion, the accusations of fraud are greatly exaggerated.

“In response, the crowd began to call the police and accuse the absolutely sober man of being a provocateur. Three police officers literally pushed the man away from the protesters. And the man told me with offense that the picketers do not know the real situation in Belarus. “There was no such chaos as they say, the lawlessness was on their part!” – Rulev recounted the dialogue with the Belarusian.

When it got dark, the total number of protesters approached 70 people.

“Verka Oleynikova, an activist of the Perpetual Protest, appeared among the protesters.” In August, Oleinikova made a trip to her native Rostov-on-Don, where she held a series of single pickets with a poster brought from Moscow with indecent text - “Garbage is worse than shit!” As a result, Verka served three days in the capital of Southern Russia and received an administrative fine of 30 thousand rubles in court (by the way, I covered the progress of this trial). At the Belarusian embassy, Verka tried to become a star on the Dozhd TV channel, which played the role of a nightly media vulture.

By the way, the Dozhd film crew ignored the young people from Irkutsk who approached the picketers, who did not hesitate to admonish the Moscow protesters: “Half of the youth here hardly understand what they stand for. Involving young people who have no life experience in politicized games, then making mincemeat out of them, dragging them into these Maidan coups, where they are put under batons, made into bargaining chips - that’s the whole story,” the reporter quoted one of the guests of the capital.

Then the liberals, posing in front of the Dozhd group, staged a performance - they placed a crown on one of the “activists,” thus demonstrating the illegality of the recent secret inauguration of Alexander Lukashenko.

“The king’s police, wearing a paper crown and a rat’s muzzle, cheerfully took him by the white hands, letting him first collect his numerous belongings, and took him to the bus.

Suddenly, a whole group of liberal journalists suddenly came running, among whom I recognized the above-mentioned Verka Oleinikova - she was recording on her smartphone the detainee’s answers to questions about “political repression,” Rulev said about the technology of the Moscow “non-Polishers.”

“My observations over the past few days indicate that all uncoordinated rallies near the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus are organized by the same political forces that last years tried to cause trouble in the capital during the elections to the Moscow Soviet. They didn’t succeed then, and they won’t succeed today,” the reporter concluded.
