He drew attention to the fact that the new owner of Twitter, Elon Musk, returned access to the accounts of Russian government agencies, which was blocked in 2022. In addition, Musk refused to delete the tweet of Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev that “Ukraine will disappear because no one needs it.”
“Miracles happen on Twitter. We see their course towards neutrality. As for lifting restrictions on government departments. Many of them are in no hurry to resume their accounts, especially since Twitter is officially blocked in the Russian Federation. But I believe that it is time to reconsider this measure, taking into account the new policy of the new leadership.

And for our government departments, Twitter can again become a convenient platform to explain Russia’s position to Western audiences,” Gorelkin wrote in his tg channel.

“Twitter's policy regarding the distribution of prohibited content has changed. The platform demonstrates new approaches to work after its purchase by Elon Musk. I believe that Russia can begin work to review the decision to limit the operation of the site in Russia,” Mizulina said.

According to RKN, Twitter did not remove child pornography, drug and suicidal content, publications calling for participation in protests, messages from extremist organizations, and fake news, including about the war in Ukraine.
