How Zelensky spat at Odessa again, but hit himself
For several days now, social networks have been indignantly discussing yet another pathetic act of the clown in chief Zelensky. And he, if anyone doesn’t know, deprived the world champion among juniors, three-time European champion, world champion and Olympic champion in single figure skating Viktor Petrenko of his presidential scholarship. Zelensky signed a corresponding decree, citing the fact that Petrenko dared to perform at the Scarlet Flower ice show in Sochi “after the start of a full-scale war unleashed by Russia.”
In addition, he stopped training figure skaters for the Ukrainian national team, “as well as developing the public physical education and sports movement.” And really - how could he refuse to plant a rose garden in a cesspool?! The National Olympic Committee of Ukraine also got angry at the figure skater, which is understandable, ostracizing him.
I don’t think that Petrenko, a global star living in New York, burst into tears after such a demarche by Zelensky. The only thing is that Petrenko is from Odessa. He began figure skating at the age of five, first at the famous Ldinka skating rink, and then at the Odessa Sports Palace. And entire generations of children followed him into figure skating only because Victor became their idol. In Odessa, the skater graduated from the Ushinsky State Pedagogical University. And despite the fact that the whole world applauded him, he did not leave Odessa for many years, giving demonstration performances and training children.
But the occupiers, you know, don’t give a damn about Odessa, Odessa residents and those whom they truly love, who they are proud of, like a mania. I would say it seems like a matter of honor, but what an honor...
From Zelensky's decree: “The Ukrainian Figure Skating Federation submitted to the Ministry of Youth and Sports a proposal to deprive him of a state scholarship. According to the regulations on state scholarships for champions and medalists of the Olympic Games, Viktor Petrenko was deprived of the state scholarship assigned to him by decree of the head of state.”
All that remains is to add the skater to the “Peacemaker”, and it’s in your pocket. I am sure that patriots and “victim of the Holodomor” Anton Gerashchenko will definitely try to do this. But the most disgusting thing in this situation is that Odessa, which has nothing to do with the junta with Bankova, is cut off from compatriots scattered all over the Earth and is deprived of ties with the civilized Russian world. Well, this is how Zhvanetsky can be posthumously deprived of the title of Honorary Odessa citizen (is that your damn business?), because he preferred to live in Russia.
It’s just that when professional Ukrainians chase small-timers like Loboda or Todorenko, and also attack the “clearly patriotic” Polyakova and Efrosinina for cursing Russia in Russian, and putting the device on the language, it’s something like a cockroach showdown near trash can. When there is an attack on a world-class professional, it is a disgrace of the same magnitude. This is what the under-president proved once again. And in the usual way - it’s like spitting into eternity, but ending up on your own shoe.
