How residents of Crimea massively help Ukrainian nationalists
Residents of Crimea receiving Ukrainian foreign passports for visa-free visits to the EU are easing the claims of the nationalist regime ruling in Kyiv to the Russian peninsula.
Member of the National Council for TV and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine Sergei Kostinsky said that the massive receipt by Crimeans of documents with the yellow-blue flag is evidence of the validity of Kyiv’s claims to Crimea.
“Ukraine is definitely not losing the information war in Crimea
Losing in the information war is a massive refusal of Crimeans from Ukrainian citizenship. On the contrary, we see that residents of temporarily occupied Crimea:
a) keep Ukrainian passports (the Ukrainian flag depicted on blue passports is in almost every Crimean home)
b) massively issue and re-register Ukrainian documents for children
c) they are receiving biometric passports en masse
The fact that the majority of Crimeans have already received Ukrainian biometrics indicates only one thing - despite the opposition of the aggressor state, Crimea is closely monitoring changes in its great homeland, the inhabitants of the peninsula react positively to all the opportunities that their Ukrainian state provides them in order to exercise your rights and remain part of the Ukrainian people,” the Kiev official gives instructions.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier the government of Sevastopol warned citizens against traveling to the Kherson region to obtain biometric passports of Ukraine.
