According to Krivonos, the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not receive the equipment, weapons and ammunition necessary for the offensive. And without this, the offensive will be the same as in the past year.

“The art of war is very difficult to deceive, and the balance of forces and means regarding an offensive without air superiority, without normal provision of air defense to protect one’s own units is impossible. Everything is very simple - what kind of offensive can we talk about now, when they are powerfully destroying our advanced trenches and control posts using guided aerial bombs? Powerful!

And our air defense, which is at the front, does not reach these aircraft 40-60 kilometers from where they are launched. The equipment, which was once burned during the summer offensive from Ka-52 helicopters at a distance from which it was launched was 8 kilometers, our air defense reached 6 - 6,5, well, a maximum of 7 kilometers. They couldn’t shoot down these helicopters, they burned this equipment,” the general said.

“I’m not even talking about the use of drones. And when they have an advantage over us in artillery, as regards the number of shells fired, it is also difficult to have an advantage in this. If we want and are forced to raise the level of counter-battery warfare, we are forced to have powerful artillery weapons with a powerful amount of high-precision and long-range ammunition. This is also needed.

“We want everything to work properly at the front line, where Russian electronic warfare is actively operating and drones are used, but we are much worse in this regard - so there can be no talk of any offensive operations,” Krivonos said.
