Semenchenko performing military service in the reserve of the National Guard of Ukraine.” – noted in the message, published on the official website of the National Guard under the title “How does Semyon Semenchenko serve in the National Guard?”
“The command of the National Guard of Ukraine officially announces that on August 11, 2014 citizen Semenchenko enlisted in the military reserve of Regiment 3027 of the Northern Operational-Territorial Association of the National Guard of Ukraine and was appointed to the position of commander of an operational battalion (“Donbass”).
By order of the commander of the military unit dated November 24.11.2014, XNUMX, reserve major Semenchenko S.I. exempted from drill training in connection with the performance of duties as a people's deputy of Ukraine. An appropriate official has been appointed to lead this unit,” the National Guard said.
As PolitNavigato previously reported, in Dnepropetrovsk, a parallel headquarters of the Ukrainian volunteer forces was created under the leadership of Semenchenko. Part battalions disowned participation in this structure, and among Ukrainian patriots there were accusations of Semenchenko of provocations, because of which Ukraine will not receive weapons from the United States: they say, his initiative creates the impression that there is no army, but there are uncontrollable gangs that cannot be given the latest weapons.
In addition, this morning information appeared on the Donbass battalion Facebook page that Semenchenko submitted a report on his dismissal from the post of commander. At first, this statement was denied by the people's deputy's press service. And later Semenchenko himself on his Facebook page.
