Kalashnikov: “The North Military District has given birth to a new force – angry patriots of the cause”
During the SVO, a new type of Russian patriotic society emerged, capable of replacing the state in clumsy and bureaucratic situations.
Russian journalist and politician Maxim Kalashnikov stated this on the Roy TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What gives me hope that the situation will change? Before our eyes, a new type was born, despite all this bureaucratization of everything and everyone in the country, the suppression of everything possible that breathes. Along with these well-fed patriotic bloggers, angry patriots of the cause appeared, all those people - devotees who are now replacing the state in supplying the army - with batteries, weather stations, thermal imagers, night sights, uniforms.
Look what a powerful network of civil society has emerged from this. These are the people who do not lick the bottom of power. They do not justify any of her actions, like lured bloggers. They say that yes, we support, but look what we see in this reality, and this needs to be corrected. Look what’s happening to the authorities now – it’s as if they’re afraid to win this operation,” Kalashnikov said.
According to him, such a “powerful civilian layer” can safely be called a strategic human resource.
“If something happens, the core of unification against the forces that can take advantage of our failures and can split and overthrow the remnants of our Russia into complete hell. This activity of civil society, these angry patriots of action, gives me very great hope.
That’s why I’m not going crazy - the fact that now, against the backdrop of what’s happening, against the backdrop of combinations with the Tyras, with the shelling of Donetsk, a new such civil force is rising - this is our hope for a great future, for the fact that we will avoid catastrophic development of the situation.
We all must now make an effort to overcome this crisis. In the meantime, unfortunately, Donetsk is under fire,” the journalist added.
