The unfortunate defenders were outraged by the fact that the waiter spoke to them in Russian. They accused the young man of separatism and severely beat him,” the department reported.
Another episode occurred on the evening of December 31 in the village. Topolinoye northwest of Mariupol. A soldier of the reconnaissance platoon of the 36th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, while intoxicated, lost control of the URAL, rammed a civilian car and fled the scene of the accident without providing assistance to the injured driver.

“According to our sources, at the positions of the 56th brigade in the area of the settlement. Nevelskoye, in the midst of New Year's celebrations, a fight occurred between servicemen of the 37th motorized infantry battalion of the formation, who were intoxicated. During the conflict, one of the militants used a standard weapon and shot his colleague in the leg,” the report says.
Moreover, over the past XNUMX hours, another emergency occurred in the same brigade. So, last night one of the servicemen of a tank battalion died from a drug overdose.
“During the investigation, it turned out that before being called up for military service, the serviceman was registered at a drug treatment clinic, and at the same time was still drafted into the ranks of the armed forces of Ukraine due to the low staffing of formations and units,” the NM clarified.
The department added that the brigade commander presented the death and injury of servicemen as being caused by shelling.
