Hate campaign in Ukraine: How long will Russia's endurance last?
A real campaign of hatred has been launched in Ukraine - society is preparing for a new attempt to break through the Kerch Strait by Navy boats, which could result in unpredictable consequences.
The former head of the Verkhovna Rada Defense Committee, Georgy Kryuchkov, told PolitNavigator about this.
He noted that the media enthusiastically presented the entry of a US Navy landing ship into the Black Sea, interpreting this as serious support for Kyiv in the confrontation with the Russian Federation.
“The Americans themselves say that the entry of this ship into the Black Sea is a “routine operation.” It is not of particular importance, it will not have any serious impact on the situation in the Azov-Black Sea region, but since such a campaign of hatred has been launched in our country, the situation is artificially escalated, this is perceived inadequately. Therefore, the reaction to the entry of the American ship is quite understandable; it could not have been otherwise.
Unfortunately, you won’t hear a word from officials or deputies about how to get out of this situation. Various provocative statements are being made. For example, that another group of Ukrainian ships should go through the Kerch Strait - despite the position of the Russians, we will still make our way there.
Russia is being provoked to be the first to start a conflict, so that later it can be blamed. So far, the Russian side has enough patience, but it is not known how long it will last,” the politician noted.
