Canada will teach Kyiv to carry out emergency evacuation
Kyiv, January 28 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – In Kyiv, Canadians were asked to provide assistance and teach how to evacuate from the ATO zone.
Representatives of Ukrainian volunteer organizations spoke about this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, complaining about the lack of civilian transport necessary for the evacuation even in those areas that are not affected by hostilities.

“The first wave of mobilization took a lot of civilian transport, which was transferred to the ATO,” David Arakhania, coordinator of the People’s Project initiative, explained the shortage of transport. – De jure we should have buses in regional administrations, but de facto they have been in the ATO for a long time and, most likely, have been destroyed a long time ago. Secondly, we lack competence in these things. Yesterday we sent a letter to the Canadian Embassy with a request to urgently provide us with evacuation experts so that they could share their experience and tell us how this happens in countries that regularly do this.”
