About this in an interview with the Ukrainian online publication “Censor. NO,” said Ukrainian Ambassador Andriy Shevchenko.
“We now have a catastrophically high percentage of refusals of Canadian visas to Ukrainians. Critically high failure rate. If last year the number of refusals decreased and reached 24%, then this year in the first quarter we had 34% of refusals of Canadian visas to Ukrainians,” the diplomat laments.
According to him, the reason for the negative trend is “an outdated system for assessing Ukrainians and migration risks associated with Ukraine.”
