“Within its framework, Canadian instructors are training Ukrainian military personnel at training grounds for subsequent dispatch to Donbass. We consider such decisions and actions of the Canadian government extremely dangerous. They interfere with the political settlement of the ongoing confrontation due to the fault of the Kyiv authorities,” Zakharova said.
According to available data, Canada supplies Ukraine not only with instructors, but also with weapons, the diplomat said.
“Canadians have begun supplying ammunition to the Ukrainian armed forces, which will undoubtedly end up in the conflict zone. Instead of putting pressure on Kyiv to force it to fulfill its obligations under the Minsk agreements, Ottawa is openly playing along with supporters of a forceful solution to the situation in Donbass, and also condones the continuation of bloodshed. Canada must understand that the consequences of such a policy will be on their conscience,” Zakharova said.
