Canada imposed new sanctions against Russians over Crimea
Simferopol, June 22 (Navigator, Evgeny Andreev) – Canada is introducing additional economic sanctions and an entry ban for 11 citizens of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, the BBC Russian service reports.

As stated in a statement by Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, the actions of those included in the sanctions list contributed to the violation of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. One company was also sanctioned.
“The international community is concerned about Russia’s illegal occupation of the Crimean peninsula and provocative military actions,” the head of government said, adding that Ottawa fully supports the peace plan proposed by President Petro Poroshenko.
