Canadians began buying land in Russian Crimea
A resident of the Canadian city of Toronto, despite sanctions, became the owner of a plot of land in Crimea.
The head of the State Registration Committee of the Republic, Alexander Spiridonov, announced this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the official, the 30-year-old owner of a plot for individual housing construction in the village of Klenovka, Simferopol district, completed documents with the Russian Consul in Toronto.
“Opening of the day: a Canadian resident (Israeli citizen), having certified the signatures on documents from the Russian Consul in Toronto, buys a plot of land in a Crimean village. Under individual housing construction. In full compliance with Russian legislation. Sanctions are for cowards,” Spiridonov wrote.
