Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated this, Ukrinform reports.
“We look forward to having a constructive conversation in the future about a visa-free regime with Ukraine, but for now this is not on the table,” Trudeau said.
He admitted that this issue often arises in discussions at various levels between representatives of the two countries.
“During my conversations with President Poroshenko, during communications between our officials, this issue is raised quite regularly. We have a reliable and detailed system with clear indicators that must be achieved to begin considering the issue of visa-free travel,” the Prime Minister said.
