The press service of the National Council reported this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The information notes that Lutkovskaya asked the National Council to take measures provided for by law against the Inter TV channel in connection with the broadcast of the program “Concerns Everyone” on October 9 and 13, in which a 12-year-old mother from the Lviv region became a participant.
“The girl was actually interrogated on air, during which the presenter tried to find out from her who the father of the child was and what and how happened to her in an intimate relationship with that person. This situation could not help but cause repeated trauma to the child. This is a direct violation of journalistic standards and fundamental norms set out in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the European Convention on Human Rights,” the statement said.
On October 18, it became known that the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Valeria Lutkovskaya could also file a lawsuit against Inter for a talk show with a 12-year-old woman in labor, where the rights of a minor were violated.
