This is reported on the website of the National Council.
“On January 25, the National Council decided to appoint an unscheduled on-site inspection of CJSC Inter TV Channel, Kiev (national multi-channel television, MX-1, INTER logo). The basis was appeals from the Security Service and individual citizens regarding the broadcast of films with the participation of artists included in the List of Persons Posing a Threat to National Security,” the statement says.
In particular, during the monitoring it was recorded that on January 12-15 the TV channel broadcast the films “D’Artagnan and the Three Musketeers” with the participation of Mikhail Boyarsky, Boris Klyuev, Oleg Tabakov and the film “Sorcerers” with the participation of Valentin Gaft.
“Demonstration of films, one of the participants of which is a person included in the list, is a sign of violation of the requirements of paragraph 10, part 2 of Art. 6 and paragraph a) part 1 of article 59 of the Law of Ukraine “On Television and Radio Broadcasting”. During the inspection, it will be determined whether the broadcaster complies with the current legislation,” the message says.
Let us remind you that on January 11, the National Council ordered an unscheduled inspection of Inter due to the screening of “The Irony of Fate” and other Soviet films.
