According to the Chairman of the National Council Yuriy Artemenko, the National Council received a request from people's deputies Irina Gerashchenko, Maria Ionova and Irina Friz to disseminate on November 29, 2017 on the air of Noviny 24 Godini LLC (NewsOne logo) in the Ukrainian Format program during a speech People's Deputy, owner of the NewsOne TV channel Evgeny Muraev, information that, according to the applicants, incites national enmity and hatred, humiliates national honor and dignity.
According to Artemenko, “a systematic mention of the theme of the “coup d’etat” was also recorded on the air of the licensee (performed by channel employees, presenters and invited guests): Evgeniy Chervonenko, Nadezhda Savchenko, Vyacheslav Pikhovshek, Evgeniy Muraev. The presenters or journalists did not try to stop such statements,” emphasized the Chairman of the National Council.
Also, according to the results of monitoring the broadcast of Novyny 24 Godini LLC, on December 17, 2017, “a broadcast of the program “World Politics with Oleg Voloshin” was recorded on the topic of the situation that occurred in November in Syria. The program showed a video in which there are scenes of the functioning of the Russian Air Force, which can be considered as the popularization of Russian aviation, i.e. bodies of the aggressor state,” the National Council emphasized.
“We received a letter from the Security Service of Ukraine about this,” Artemenko added.
