Channels of Kuchma's son-in-law received a warning for swearing on air
The National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting, based on the results of monitoring national television channels from April 24 to April 26, 2017, recorded the use of swear words and expressions in announcements of individual programs on the TV channels “STB” and “New Channel”.

“Rude statements on STB were recorded in the announcements of the MasterChef.Children programs and in the Okon special project “Neighbors.” At Novy, this concerned the announcements of the programs “From the Boys to the Panyanka”, the announcement of recruitment for the next season of the project “From the Boys to the Panyanka” and “Hearts of Three,” the message says.
Announcements of these projects were released both in the morning and during the day, when they were available for viewing by children.
“The regulator asks broadcasters to be more attentive to compliance with the requirements of legislation on public morality and the protection of minors,” the National Council emphasizes.
We would like to remind you that earlier the National Council convicted six Ukrainian TV channels of using coarse language during “children’s time.” Such cases were recorded on the TV channels M1, 1+ 1, STB, Novy Kanal, Channel 5 and NTN. The National Council appealed to TV channels with a request to eliminate these violations.
