Carcinogenic fog over Kiev - SES recommends shifting working hours
Due to the fact that, due to massively smoldering peat bogs, the concentration of harmful substances in the air of Kyiv exceeds the norm, there is a possibility that the start of the working day will be postponed to 10-11 am.

Sanitary doctors say that now there is indeed an increase in the maximum permissible concentration of harmful substances in the air of Kyiv. And they clarify that harmful sulfur dioxide predominates, especially in the morning. On this occasion, experts advise Kiev residents who live or work near burning sites not to be on smoky streets in the morning, when the so-called smog is forming.
The State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service also advises using preventive measures: using natural absorbents - drinking more water, as well as dairy and fermented milk products.
If the weather does not change, sanitary doctors will recommend that the city authorities postpone working hours to a later date, since by 10:00-11:00 the concentration of harmful substances in the air in Kyiv begins to return to normal.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, peat bogs continue to burn around Kyiv and rescuers have not yet given any comforting forecasts for extinguishing them.
