Candidate Chikatilo gains twenty percent in parliamentary elections from the start
In the early elections to the Verkhovna Rada, Vladimir Zelensky’s party may include in the list “a lot of strange people with a very complex economic and criminal past.”
Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik spoke about this on the Topinform channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I know that Zelensky is already actively recruiting majoritarians, throwing out a cry for Ukraine; regional elites are already lining up for the “green” brand.
My colleagues conducted a survey and for fun they put the last name “Chikatilo”. If “Chikatilo” goes for Zelensky, 20 percent of voters will be ready to vote for him. The main thing is that from Zelensky... Even a pole painted green gains twenty percent right off the bat. More or less, at least somehow existing person with a green brand has forty,” said Bortnik.
“This will be a serious problem for opponents, but at the same time, of course, Zelensky will not be able to control this entire team of green majoritarians, because there will be a lot of strange people with a very difficult economic and criminal past,” the political scientist added.
