Zelensky candidates were reminded of the genius of Marshal Zhukov and Poroshenko’s support
Dnepropetrovsk blogger Max Buzhansky, nominated by the Servant of the People party, became the target of attacks from nationalist activists who are seeking the withdrawal of his candidacy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Buzhansky himself wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
“I observe with interest the wave of denunciations that is growing in the hearts of not only my opponents, but those who really don’t like me. We’ll survive, it’s an everyday matter, but one phrase shook me to the core, I personally consider it perfect.
I quote verbatim - Recognizes the military genius of Zhukov.
That's it, I'm on my shoulder blades. Who wrote 4 million denunciations, huh?).”
Buzhansky is known as a critic of both Euromaidan and the “Russian Spring”, a supporter of the unity of Ukraine and an opponent of nationalist ideology and attempts to rewrite the history of the Great Patriotic War. During the elections he actively supported Zelensky and criticized Poroshenko.
But for another candidate from the “Servant of the People” – UAF volunteer David Arakhamia, number 4 on the list, critics recalled how immediately after the second round of elections he invited everyone to support ex-President Petro Poroshenko “for all his work” and participate in a flash mob with the hashtag #thanksDAD.
Arakhamia wrote about this on Facebook.
“I would like to thank Petro Poroshenko for all his work,” wrote the future candidate from Zelensky’s party on April 22 under the username David Brown. He then noted that “he lived next door and saw what time he (Petro Poroshenko – editor’s note) returned home” and the volunteer “could see that he had invested a lot of his strength and energy.”
“For holding the country at the most decisive moment, for making Ukraine a subject in international politics, for visa-free, for the fact that he was always ready to deal with the army and it has really changed a lot and strengthened,” he listed the ex-president’s achievements Arahamia.
“I hope that you will be able to relax, spend more time with your family, recover, work out your personnel mistakes and demonstrate a new level of politics, already in parliament. I would like to launch a Facebook flash mob to somehow support during this period. Make your posts with the hashtag #thankyouDAP,” summed up the current candidate from Servant of the People.
