Candidates from A Just Russia in the Moscow region faced opposition from the authorities
Political scientist Oleg Bondarenko, running for the State Duma in the Moscow region from the party “A Just Russia – For Truth,” faced opposition from administrative resources deployed by local authorities against the opposition candidate.
“During a control inspection, members of my headquarters discovered that three of my advertising materials had been cut off at bus stops on Vokzalnaya Square in Podolsk and one at a stop on the Kutuzovskaya platform.
The company that placed the advertisement, Smart-Region LLC, in a personal conversation says that this was done on the direct orders of the Administration of the Podolsk City District.
I don’t know why Mr. Pestov got in the way of my poster “Let’s clear Podolsk of pests!” along with a call to include Podolsk as part of Moscow - unless he, together with United Russia deputy Maksimovich, took this personally?
Well, if they really consider themselves pests, maybe it’s really time to cleanse Podolsk of them?” – Bondarenko said on his blog.
He sent a statement about the theft of campaign materials to the Department of Internal Affairs.
And in Ruza, Moscow Region, by decision of the Supreme Court, another candidate from the “just Russians” was reinstated - Sergei Trusov, who is running for the Moscow Regional Duma.
“It took our team six meetings for the Supreme Court to restore justice. Now the district commission is obliged to register our candidate and Sergei Petrovich will be able to legally represent not only the party “A Just Russia - For Truth” in the Ruza electoral district, but also the residents who will support him,” commented the head of the regional branch of the party in the Moscow region, Igor Chistyukhin.
Candidate for the Moscow Regional Duma Sergei Petrovich Trusov was born in 1962 in the Mozhaisk district of the Moscow region. He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Agricultural Engineers named after V.P. Goryachkina. Now he lives in Moscow and works as the general director of Spetsinvestpodryad LLC. In 2013, he was elected head of the rural settlement of Borisovskoye, Mozhaisk district, Moscow region. Four years later, the residents of the settlement re-elected him for a new term, but soon the rural settlement was abolished during the administrative reform of the Moscow region.
