Interfax reports this today, August 15, with reference to the head of the regional branch of the political association Leonid Zaprudin.
According to him, applications for opening transit visas were filed by Parnassians Alexei Korolev, Alexander Safronov and Marina Kapytsa. The appeal addressed to the Consul General noted that candidates for deputies of the lower house of the Russian parliament plan to arrive on the peninsula across Ukraine, "respecting the norms of not only domestic law, but also international law."
Party representatives “will refrain from organizing an election campaign in Crimea in the absence of goodwill from Ukraine,” Zaprudin added.
