For the Odessa murderer Sergei Sternenko, “the days of foolishness” and the “moment of truth” may be coming. He was finally given the long-awaited (from the point of view of normal people) suspicion of premeditated murder.

In two years, the name Sternenko became a household name. This was a kind of symbol of the main achievement of the “revolution of righteousness” both under Poroshenko and Zelensky: the Svidomo activist is allowed everything. A sidelong glance or “let me smoke” from a passer-by could be interpreted as an attempt on the life of the “hero of the Maidan.” The brutal murder of a passerby by an activist is like necessary self-defense.

Let us recall that on May 24, 2018, it became known that Odessa Svidomo Sternenko had a conflict with two citizens, as a result of which one of them, Ivan Kuznetsov, received a fatal stab wound. The second passerby, Alexander Isaikul, ran away from the scene of the conflict. Perhaps this saved him from sharing the fate of Ivan Kuznetsov.

Many learned about the murder from the stream that Sternenko led from the crime scene. Then the killer deleted the stream. But on the night of the crime, both Sternenko and his stubborn girlfriend savored the details of the murder, for which they apparently expected to receive, at a minimum, a state award or an increase in status.

Many people watched that stream. By that time, the “pravosek” Sternenko aroused disgust and hatred among normal Odessa residents.

He was known for protecting drug dealers and kidnapping people. In this regard, criminal proceedings were even initiated. But in the country of the victorious “revolution of justice”, any criminal proceedings could dry up as suddenly as they were initiated.

Sternenko caused chaos in the trials of dissidents and anti-Maidan activists (for Sternenko and his activist accomplices, for example, an attack on a lawyer was commonplace). He joyfully took a selfie against the backdrop of political prisoner Yevgeny Mefedov, who was in a cage during a court hearing.

Sternenko terrorized elderly Odessa residents who were going to lay flowers at the monument to Soviet soldiers. Odessa residents paid him “reciprocally” and called him “a one-eyed gouge.” Sternenko was sincerely indignant at the “cynicism of the quilted jackets” who mocked his physical disability.

Residents of Odessa, who know the activist first-hand, were not at all surprised when, during his own stream, he spoke disparagingly about the man he had fatally wounded. The “scumbag” informed viewers of the stream that the “attacker” was lying with his intestines out. Some people called out to him and his girlfriend: help the wounded man. But the Svidomo animals only irritably waved away the citizens who sympathized with the victim.

For some reason, Sternenko’s supporters, and then the investigation, persistently called Kuznetsov and Isaikul the attackers. Although the stream did not record the fact of the attack. The stream just showed that Sternenko attacked a man with a knife and killed him. Sternenko himself proudly admitted that the knife was his own.

But the entire activist “barnyard”, starting with Mustafa Nayem and ending with ordinary scumbags, initially sold the version of Sternenko’s self-defense as the only correct one. Moreover, the state was accused of not sufficiently protecting the activist from threats and possible attacks.

This far-fetched “activist component” in the case and the paternal concern of curators and high patrons since 2018 led to the fact that Sternenko was not immediately taken into custody as a criminal murderer, and for some reason his case was transferred to the SBU. The killer himself posed as a victim activist.

Soon after the murder, Sternenko even traveled to universities giving lectures on civil society and activism.

At the same time, video blogger Shariy in his videos initially gave a full explanation of how Sternenko was chasing a wounded victim with his own knife. He ran a considerable distance, catching up with Kuznetsov, and then finished off the fallen man with a knife. This version was later confirmed by an examination. The examination also confirmed the fact that after the murder Sternenko himself cut his hand in order to mislead the investigation: they say, he snatched the knife from the attacker...

Sternenko’s supporters and even the investigation periodically “waved” this cut hand of the killer as evidence that he was a victim!

Already under President Zelensky, some deputies encouraged the authorities to objectively investigate and punish the killer. At the same time, Prosecutor General Ryaboshapka met with the murderer Sternenko in his office! While the family of the murdered Kuznetsov was not granted such audiences.

Then there was hope that under Prosecutor General Venediktova the case would be brought to its logical conclusion. But in May 2020, there was another surge of insanity in this case: the investigation recognized Sternenko as a victim in the case of an attack on him. And the suspicion was registered in the name of the murdered Kuznetsov.

And finally, on June 11, the SBU announced that Sternenko was suspected of premeditated murder. The investigation accepted the version that passers-by attacked Sternenko and even qualified his initial actions as “necessary defense.”

But in assessing his further movements, even such a specific structure as the SBU cannot but take into account the obvious: “Since I. Kuznetsov fled the scene of the incident, the attack on Sternenko is considered completed - nothing threatened his life and health. However, Sternenko ran after Kuznetsov, caught up with him and inflicted several wounds, in particular, a stab in the heart, which led to death. The body of I. Kuznetsov was found almost 100 meters from the place of the first fight. That is, the statements that S. Sternenko wounded I. Kuznetsov during self-defense, and subsequently did not inflict any wounds, do not correspond to reality.”

Coming out of the SBU building, Sergei Sterneko uttered an obscene comment: “You are for...ali.” The events of these two years developed according to such an absurd scenario that it would not be at all surprising if at some stage of the pre-trial investigation the killer was again recognized as a victim. They say they mocked him at the SBU in a perverted form and raped him there.

A couple of dozen Svidomo came to support Sternenko, including former National Corps activists Sergei Filimonov and Nazariy Kravchenko. They captioned the photo on social networks as follows: “The Sorosyata organized crime group is waiting for Sergei Sternenko.”

Sternenko is supported by the former Minister of Health Ulyana Suprun, the failed bomber-terrorist Oleg Sentsov, and the Nayem brothers. Perhaps this is the backbone of a future political project. Will the word “Soros” turn out to be not such a joke?

The “Soros” attacked Shariy’s journalists under the SBU, swearing into the foul language. The police played morons and told the journalist: “Don’t provoke them.”
