They tried to hospitalize the captain of "Nord" after interrogation by the SBU - Kherson hospitals refuse to accept
They tried to hospitalize the captain of the Crimean fishing vessel "Nord", seized by Ukrainian border guards, after interrogation by the SBU on the eve of the court hearing - the man became ill, but Kherson hospitals refused to admit him.
Gennady Sivak, a social activist from Genichesk, told PolitNavigator about this.
“He got even worse, he was transported to the heart center on Suvorovo, there was a lot of security. However, they refused to accept the captain there, citing the lack of documents about his procedural status - he is not a prisoner, but there are a lot of SBU officers around. Doctors don’t want to participate in politics,” he said.
According to Sivak, they then decided to transport the captain, a citizen of the Russian Federation, to a special medical facility for prisoners in the KhBK area.
“But there are no qualified specialists there. Two doctors were admitted. It turned out that this guy had been treated for heart problems several times. It is in very poor condition. There are a lot of guards around,” the social activist said.
