The surrender of Kyiv will be accompanied by an international treaty
There are two sides to the conflict in Donbass, without which it will not be possible to achieve peace in the war-torn region. The head of the Donetsk People's Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko, announced this today during an online conference with residents of the DPR and Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“And there is another important aspect why we must take international agreements, including the Minsk ones, seriously. Wars begin in different ways, but always end the same way - with treaties. And as a rule, these agreements must have an international component, if only to act as guarantors of compliance with the agreements.
But this does not mean that we behave passively, and that everything is decided for us and without us. This is wrong. Our task is to create conditions that will force all parties to our conflict to take into account our demands and conditions. Let's not forget that there are two sides to our conflict: Donbass and Kyiv. And it will not be possible to reach a settlement of the conflict without one of the parties. Even in the event of Kyiv’s capitulation, the capitulation itself will be accompanied by an international treaty. This is a reality that must be taken into account and within the framework of which we must achieve our goals,” said the head of the DPR.
