Ukraine decided to interrupt the capitulation of Azov by arresting Tsarev
The brother of former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev was detained in Ukraine.
The press service of the SBU reported this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is alleged that Tsarev’s relative was taken in Dnepropetrovsk “in an attempt to organize sabotage in the eastern regions.”
“He was confident in Russia’s imminent victory: he expected the occupation of the region and the position of head of the regional state administration that was promised to him. When the arrival of the Russians failed, he received the task of destabilizing the situation in the region with a series of explosions at infrastructure facilities,” the SBU assures.
During the search, “weapons and ammunition, TNT blocks, bank cards and passports of Russian citizens were found in a specially equipped cache.”
The detainee was declared suspicious under Art. 113 (sabotage) of the Criminal Code.
This information was confirmed by Oleg Tsarev himself.
“Judging by the photo of the detainee, which is shown by the SBU, this is Mikhail Tsarev. I was raised by my mother. My mother divorced my father when I was five years old, and I practically did not maintain contact with my father. The same year that my father divorced my mother, he got married and had children in his new marriage. The mother of my half-brothers is from Western Ukraine, from the city of Ternopil.
I have always tried to help all my relatives, my wife’s relatives, friends and acquaintances. But in 2014, when my family found itself in a difficult situation, many of those whom I had helped for many years suddenly disappeared from the horizon. Among those with whom I stopped maintaining relations since 2014 were my paternal half-brothers,” the deputy writes in his blog.
He noticed that in the morning there was almost no talk in the Ukrainian media about the surrender of “Azov” in Mariupol.
“Even while watching, I thought, how will President Zelensky’s office interrupt the media agenda? Well, now it has become clear. I turned on the TV and all the channels were talking about the arrest of my half-brother, whose only fault was that we had the same last name,” Tsarev summed up.
