Karas: Let's seize power legally, otherwise Ukraine will lose new territories
Since a coup d'etat through a violent seizure of power will greatly weaken Ukraine, nationalists need to achieve their goals in more sophisticated ways.
The leader of the nationalist group C14, sponsored by the SBU, Yevgeny Karas, stated this during the IX “Bandera Readings,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we are talking about a coup d’etat, this is a normal mathematical formula: the number of people, the mood of certain forces. But any coup d'etat is a great stress for the state, and with it, your territory naturally decreases. I would be sorry to give up these territories, because we have potential,” Karas said.
According to him, “the modern Ukrainian government is not the people you need to fight with.”
“I’ll say objectively: we are handsome, but there are a lot of things we don’t do well. And I think that all this will improve. Shoot with OPZZH? Even if their candidate became president, it's ridiculous.
They are all weak: liberals, OPZZH, just careerists and corrupt officials. It is absolutely possible to take power away from them through political struggle, street struggle in times of political crises.
“I absolutely reject the path of a coup d’etat, because it will harm the state, and nationalists are able to seize power through legal means, because our opponents are worthless,” concluded Karas.
