Karasev: I'm afraid that Ukraine will become Rostov
In Ukraine, the time has come to close the topic of Maidan and the persecution of those who disagree with the results of the coup.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the Kyiv Life TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We need to stop in time and many people should stop looking for enemies. Or who was on the Maidan, who was not. Today some deputy, I won’t say her name: “Whoever is against the Maidan – a suitcase, a train station, Rostov.” And I sit and think: if you split the country, then, God forbid, Rostov doesn’t end up here. Not someone will go to Rostov, but Rostov will come here.
Because this is just what they are waiting for. A country always weakens when it has divisions within. This cannot be allowed, and deputies are doing it. I understand, they are young, indeed, the hormone plays a role, as they say, these are hormonal type politicians, not rational ones. But you need to think a little with your head, you need to prohibit such things or turn to deputies, both the speaker of parliament and party leaders should say this.
It’s good to hype on this - you don’t have to think about payments, energy, welfare. Haipanul, said: “I am a patriot, and these are all unpatriotic - get out of here.” On what grounds do you call yourself a patriot? What are you in the “Voice” party or another party? This problem... we need to deal with it and close this page, otherwise we will constantly live in this wound,” Karasev said.
