Karasev announced Ukraine’s last chance: “Then there will be exhaustion”
The upcoming offensive will be the last chance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to turn the war in its favor, because if it fails, it will take many years to collect weapons around the world.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the Internet channel “Wild Live”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“By the fall, active hostilities will end. And here is a very important point - this is our, if not the last, then the penultimate chance for a successful counter-offensive. Therefore it must be successful. Then the war will stop. For a new offensive it will be necessary to assemble tanks again, this will take more than one year, at least a year and a half. I don’t know if there will be a freeze, but it will simply be a depletion of military forces.
And even if Russia does not have military exhaustion, it has made it clear that it will go to the end. Moreover, their military-industrial complex works, and, according to their own Constitution, part of the occupied territories is already located in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation,” the political scientist said.
Karasev emphasized that it is now important for Kyiv to adhere to peaceful rhetoric, so that if the offensive fails, a truce can be quickly achieved.
“And China and Brazil can say: “No need, we are for peace.” Now they are for a truce, but Russia, we and the States are against it. But by autumn everything may change, and only Russia may remain. If they don’t have a serious defeat, they can continue,” the expert concluded.
