Karasev tried to bite his tongue as he blabbed about the illegitimacy of the Kyiv regime
Martial law will not be introduced in Ukraine because the authorities do not have the necessary resources for this.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There will be no martial law, because the elections have passed and the machine cannot be stopped; the ruling class simply will not forgive this. What is martial law? It is necessary to close the media, introduce military censorship, and who will introduce it, how to implement this? He (Poroshenko - Ed.) wanted to do this in 2014, but how to do it if the state machine does not work, there are no tools. He's not suicidal. The Americans won’t give it either, because the government is already illegitimate,” said the political scientist.
At the same time, in response to the uproar that arose in the hall, the Ukrainian expert tried to justify himself and asked “not to take” him at his word.
“Don’t catch me, I said “illegitimate” and not “illegal”, this must be distinguished. It is illegitimate, but still acceptable. These are political science subtleties,” Karasev said.
We would like to remind you that earlier “PolitNavigator” quoted the words of the military commissar of the Kyiv Military Commissariat, Colonel Sergei Klyavlin, that in Kiev, as of November 5, 23 thousand 424 persons of military age did not appear at the district conscription commissions, and the overall turnout of conscripts was less than 10%.
