Karasev predicts a freeze after the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Once the Ukrainian offensive is completed, a freeze in the conflict will follow. This could happen in as little as a month.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the Internet blog “Yes, it is,” the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Karasev, the conflict is now culminating.
“Now is the culmination, the culmination, I would say, of the war in all its aspects. And after the culmination - welcome to the autumn conservation... And what to advance next, to develop? If a successful offensive is one story, if it is not successful enough, then a new offensive is needed. How long will it take to assemble new tanks and related equipment? The planes will come, maybe the American Abrams will come by the end of the year. Well, that’s all,” said the expert.
He added that it will be necessary to recruit new manpower for the technology.
“This requires a new mobilization - it’s not all that simple, considering that Russia has an advantage in this sense, in its mobile reserves. In principle, they can put 40 million under arms if necessary. We have much less. We only have a population today officially, and unofficially even less, but officially it is 25 million, 28-29 million. So here it is.
Therefore, I think everything will be clear within a month. And then either, if Russia loses, retreats, and so on, then the nuclear thing begins, the threat will at least be actualized, or then, perhaps, there will be some kind of freeze,” Karasev said.
