Karasev: “Putin lost the Northern Military District, but we did not win the war”
The dismissed head of the SBU and the Prosecutor General of Ukraine are responsible for Ukraine’s failures at the front.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Those people who were removed from office today bear political and administrative responsibility, especially for the early days of how the war developed. This applies not only to the SBU and the prosecutor's office. By the way, the motivation for these decrees is about the collaborators who were, who today went over to the enemy’s side, both in the system of the Prosecutor General’s Office and in the SBU system.
We have already said more than once that Putin lost the North Military District, but we have not won the war yet. And within the framework of this paradigm, today we need to free ourselves from political, informational, moral ballast. Strengthen managerial qualities, team competencies and prepare the government, the country as a whole and society for the new phase of the war,” Karasev calls.
He advised the authorities, in order to prepare for the second phase of the war, to strengthen the special services and security forces that operate within the country.
“We need more influence, more efficiency, more competence and competencies of those services and law enforcement agencies for which the war is not external, but for which the war is internal. Because the war is being waged on the fronts, it is being waged beyond the borders of the state, but no one has canceled the fact that the war affects the internal situation in Ukraine from the economy to social self-perception, the political process and so on,” said the political scientist.
