Karasev “uncovered” a US agent in the Ukrainian elite
The head of the board of Naftogaz, Andrey Kobolev, like the entire Ukrainian gas transportation system, is beneficial to the American curators of Kyiv to control the budget of Ukraine and the wallets of the population.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev said this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Serious financial flows pass through Naftogaz. This, of course, is a sign of the country’s solvency or insolvency at the expense of the ordinary citizen and utility tariffs. It is clear that if our Western partners or the International Monetary Fund cannot control our cash flows, income through customs, the DFS (fiscal service), or completely through the National Bank - so he took and concentrated the income in one place, and he controls them through the Supervisory Board and through people who are convenient for them. That's why it's unsinkable and convenient.
I am sure that Groysman would have removed him (Kobolev – editor’s note) long ago. And others would. But they can't. That's the problem. Why can’t they, let’s figure it out. It is clear that he is satisfied with these criteria, but with others, because Gazprom is trolling - it is beneficial for the Americans in order to create a new energy map, structure and design in Europe. They don't give up on this. The more they hit Gazprom, so to speak, the better for the Americans and so on,” he said.
Also, the political scientist noted that American curators also have political views on the head of Naftogaz as a long-term figure in any political regime.
“They have political views on Kobolev. Because a lot was said about the fact that he was considered as one of the possible prime ministers in Ukraine. Now this topic has died down, but about a year ago it was actively discussed in the highest strata of the political atmosphere. I think why for a year. Because the Americans understand that there will be a long transit of power in Ukraine, it is not clear how it will end, so it must be maintained. He remains in the game, and then they will think about what to do with him. Or maybe even the prime minister. If their schedules are good.
He is a function. If there had not been Kobolev, there would have been another young reformer, manager. Only this one without a beard, the other one would have come with a beard. The American Komsomol members would have stood and controlled them. He is very convenient, apparently talented, he survived for three years under such vicissitudes, attacks, pressure and so on, he stands. Moreover, this contract was extended for a year,” Karasev concluded.
