Decommunization in Ukraine has led to the fact that on October 14, when nationalists organize their marches, there is no one to resist them.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.
“The problem is that there is no left-wing youth movement. All protest potential has gone to the right. Previously, right and left always clashed on Intercession. Now there is no left movement. That’s the problem,” Karasev said.
At the same time, he is not inclined to blame only the Ukrainian government for the degeneration of the left movement.
“We know why, who and how the leftist movement was merged. They systematically drained the leftist movement for money for several years,” Karasev said.
As for the Ukrainian government, it, as the political scientist believes, is busy splitting the nationalist movement.
“The authorities need to break up the national movement on which Gritsenko, Sadovy, and Ukrop feed.” They artificially raise “Freedom”. There is no leader. That's why they nominated Koshulinsky. Even Tyagnibok does not risk going to the presidential elections,” Karasev said.
